Dance Classes

 Bunny Davis Center offers ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance classes for ages 4 through high school.  Fees are based on semester beginning in September and January.  (Registration begins in August and December respectively).  Fees are not included in the Fitness Center Membership.

Tennis Lessons

The Bunny Davis Center has two lighted outdoor tennis courts available at no cost to the public.


Tennis lessons are offered at various times in the spring and summer months.  For additional information or clinic ties, contact the Parks and Recreation office.  Lesson fees are not included in the Fitness Center Membership.


Registration:

Pre-Registration is required (859-238-1233).  Registration fee must be paid no later than one week prior to first class.


Ages 5-9 > $75 (15 Classes)

Ages 5-9 > $65 (13 Classes)

Ages 5-9 > $55 (11 Classes)


Ages 10+ > $85 (15 Classes)

Ages 10+ > $75 (13 Classes)

Ages 10+  > $65 (11 Classes)


Class Times:

Ages 5-9 > 9:00am - 9:45am

Ages 10+ > 10:00am-11:00am

Fitness Classes

All fitness classes are designed so the participant may work at their own level.  All classes are for men and women of all ages and provide a safe and simple, yet challenging, aerobic workout.  Our program list below is centered on a goal to provide a program that will improve and maintain cardiovascular efficiency, muscular strength and endurance,  flexibility, and optimal body composition.  


Please ask to speak with our aerobic coordinator if you have any questions or concerns.


All fitness classes are included with your Bunny Davis Membership.


STEP & SCULPT: Beginner and Intermediate friendly.  Cass consisting of aerobics using steps, weights, bands and exercise balls for toning. (60 Minutes)


INTERVAL TRAINING: Class alternating high and low intensity with weights for toning (60 Minutes)


PI-YO: Combination pilates and yoga, low impact. (60 Minutes)


PILATES: Class using weights and kettle bells for toning. (30 Minutes)


STEP & TONE: Advanced aerobics class using step, weights and kettle bells. (60 Minutes)


R.I.P.P.E.D. : Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, Diet is a class and program featuring a variety of aerobic and tonig intervals.  Modications are shown and explained so everyone can participate. (60 Minutes)


YOGA: A class of gentle, flowing movements for stretching and toning (45 Minutes)


ZUMBA:  A class that incorporates dance and aerobic elements with slow and fast Latin rhythms (60 Mintues)


KETTLE BELLS AMPD: A class that incorporates kettle bells for cardio, muscle toning, and abs toning. (60 Minutes)


BOOT CAMP: An exercise session for beginners and intermediate participants including joggies, pushups, sit-ups, lunges, jumping jacks, etc (60 Minutes)


A schedule of specific class days and times is available at the Front Desk of the Bunny Davis Center.

Racquetball

 The Bunny Davis Center offers two racquetball courts that are available at no additional cost for our members.  

To reserve your court time, please call or stop by the front desk.


Private instruction is offered to monthly members at no additional cost.

In February, the Parks and Recreation Department hosts a racquetball tournament which includes all level of play for both men and women. 


Note: one court is also equipped with Wallyball hardware (a variation of volleyball inside the racquetball court)

Cardio / Weight Room

Our Cardio / Weight room is equipped with a wide variety of equipment.  We offer free weights, a machine circuit system, and cardiovascular equipment.  


Individuals must be over the age of 14 to use the weight room.


Individuals between 14-17 years of age must have a registration card on file,  signed by a legal guardian, in order to use the Cardio / Weight Room.





 


Karate Classes

Classes in the discipline of Okinawa Goju Ru are offered for youth and adults.   

Fees are not included in the Fitness Center Membership.   


Classes are taught by Robert Brown on Monday nights (6:00p-9:30p), and Saturday mornings (9:00a-11:00a).
