The Danville - Boyle County Parks and Recreation Department hosts recreation basketball programs for children currently registered in Kindergarten through High School.
Kindergarten - First Grade (Coed): This program is designed to be an instructional program intended to teach the basics of the game to each participant. Score is not kept, and playing time is balance so that everyone can participate and learn the game. One coach for each team is allowed on the court to assist the players.
Second & Third Grade (Boys / Girls): Instruction continues but basic basketball game rules will be followed. Score will be kept (cleared at halftime), but not recorded for standings.
Fourth - Sixth Grade (Boys / Girls): While continuing to teach the game, the game score is kept, and standard game rules are followed.
Sixth - Eighth Grade (Coed): While continuing to teach the game, the game score is kept, and standard game rules are followed.
Ninth - Twelfth Grade (Coed): While continuing to teach the game, the game score is kept, and standard game rules are followed.

All games and practices will be scheduled at local Danville and Boyle County schools, along with the possible use of Danville Christian Academy and local church gyms.
